My backcourt partner in Ramat Gan – Bob Griffin – was on that Maccabi Tel Aviv European Cup Champs. team in ’77.
And of course, I competed against Lou S., Jim B., Aulcie P., Mickey B., Moeti A. & Eric M. that yr.
My closest friend in Tel Aviv is (was) Steve Schlachter (Hapoel Ramat Gan), who won the league MVP in ’78; played 20+ yrs. in the league, including appearances for the National Team.
